WE’VE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN SERVING.
And now we can serve even more.

We’re pleased to announce that Church Mutual Insurance Company (CMIC) is acquiring the insurance operations of the Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA), including the School Board Insurance Company of Pennsylvania, Inc. (SBIC of PA) and School Claims Services, LLC (SCS).

It is anticipated that the acquisition will close on April 1, 2016.

“This agreement is a win-win for Church Mutual and the Pennsylvania School Board Association’s insurance operations,” said Mike Ravn, chief executive officer of CMIC.

“It’s also exciting news for the many organizations we serve. The agreement means CMIC will have even deeper expertise in serving schools and other organizations that are critical to their communities.”

OUR CORE COMMITMENT HAS NOT CHANGED

Even though the company is growing, the focus of CMIC has not changed. “This agreement in no way diminishes Church Mutual’s commitment to religious organizations,” said Rich Poirier, president of CMIC. “CMIC’s experience in insuring religious schools makes it duly qualified to help Pennsylvania school organizations mitigate risk and restore loss.”
